MEGSI

The Master in Engineering and Management of Information Systems (in Portuguese, Mestrado em Engenharia e Gestão de Sistemas de Informação — MEGSI) is a program under the responsibility of the Department of Information Systems of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, whose predominant area of training is Information Systems and Technology. 

The study cycle is structured into two areas of specialization:

• Information Systems in Organizations and Society 

• Information Systems Engineering

The Program aims to train professionals who combine engineering and management skills focused on Information Systems and Technology and their application in the context and for the benefit of organizations and society.

Graduates of the MEGSI program are able to work in organizations of any size or sector, having a profile adapted to join Management Consulting companies as well as Information Systems and Technology companies.
